Sketching as in, the ideas, conposition, etc. Having some idea of the char expressions earlier. The "oh this is a cool idea"

Colors for the mood and impact.

Lines... they got easier, i like them but i really should consider colors and lineart the same, not as an extra step.

So I'm asking you, please pick a recording. If the 1900s versions don't work for you, here's a terrific 1932 recording by Sidney Bechet. It's a vitally important conposition and it deserves to be heard at It's best. (10/10)

Happy anivversary to the inaugural death of mister seven

#homestuck - #homestuckintermission - #fanart
Drawing in tribute of the paradox space comic "The inaugural death of mister seven". The character crowbar stands in the front of the conposition while the space behind him is cut off in three segments: the bottom one shows the felt manor, the middle one shows Spades Slick and a stylised view of midnight city and the one on top shows Snowman and Doc Scratch, a huge plume of smoke coming from Snowman's cigarette holder. On the right the dates "4/11/14" and "4/11/24" are written down.

There Is XXXX (Within My Heart)
– You Say Party! We Say Die!
📍Abbotsford, BC 🇨🇦
2010

This is a catchy dancy electronic/rock track.

(The band name is now shortened to “You Say Party”)

youtu.be/GTVkzdEtcD4
cover art: XXXX – You Say Party! We Say Die! The title and band name are repeated seemingly endlessly, curving into a spiral leading to a large white heart. The entire conposition is black and white, and has a graphic design kinda feel.

Happy Anniversary to Partners in Time

I couldn't think of anything since I was too busy preparing for Thanksgiving with the family

So here's this

If you're curious who the third Shroob is, thats my Shroob oc Ancient Princess Shroob :p
Princess in the foreground, has a dark blue dress on as she looks towards the camera, she's yelling "THAT WAS TODAY!?" as she holds a plate with a large turkey on it. In the background are two Shroob Princess. Elder P.S. has a redish dress on and to her right, the other Princess has a green shirt on while holding a fork and knife. All three of them had a worried look on their faces. The conposition is presented like it was a saved canvas icon, with the words PartnersInTimeAnniversary.PNG on top, obscured by the speech bubble.

"ugly sketch" nooo 😩 (I know what you meant lol but nooooo) I adore these little environments. An eye for camera angles to make a good conposition on a canvas with just an environment is such a great skill
