The article discusses how Hollywood conservatives formed a secret organization called Friends of Abe during the Obama era to navigate the increasingly intolerant political climate. Actress Patricia Heaton revealed that this group, which included stars like Gary Sinise and Kelsey Grammar, provided a safe space for conservatives and independents in the entertainment industry. The piece highlights the challenges faced by conservatives in Hollywood, such as Gina Carano losing her Disney role after expressing conservative views. It also critiques the dominance of progressive ideologies in the industry, noting that few shows defended traditional values or questioned progressive narratives. The author argues that the need for such a secret club underscores the hostility toward conservative ideas in Hollywood, which has contributed to a broader cultural shift. The article emphasizes the importance of free expression and the impact of political correctness on creative industries.

Pauline Hanson has emerged as a prominent figure in the international conservative movement, leveraging her platform to advocate for the preservation of Western values. Her recent activities, including high-profile meetings with activist Tommy Robinson, have drawn both support and criticism. The article highlights Hanson's efforts to rally support for the 'Save Britain. Save the West' campaign, which aims to address perceived threats to Western civilization. However, her association with figures like Robinson, known for controversial actions, has raised questions about her credibility and the potential impact on Australian voters. The piece explores the dynamics of her influence within the conservative movement, comparing her impact to the more established Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) in the United States. While Hanson's rhetoric resonates with some, her controversial alliances could alienate others, particularly in Australia where her political career has been marked by polarizing debates. The article underscores the challenges faced by leaders in balancing ideological commitment with public perception, especially in an era of heightened political polarization. It also touches on the broader implications of her actions for the global conservative movement, suggesting that her trajectory could shape future political strategies in the region.
