I did a quick paint session on my werewolves- nothing is finished, so I felt I wasn't getting anywhere- but then I remembered to compare before and after.

Part of rules of consitency in emoji should include angle and facing. I've failed a lot of very clever and funny emoji combinations sent to my wife.

Logistical consitency is a poor substitute for emotional consitency. That said, emotional consistency is best able to be built when people feel safe, for which logistical consistency can be vital.
Relying on one can feel hollow or even cold. Relying on the other can feel chaotic and uncertain.

My understanding is that it primarily has to do with how streaming shows set up their writers rooms, farming out 3ish episodes to different sets of writers.
The old network model meant it could take a few years for a group of writers to lock in on a show's tone, but then they more consitency.
