Judith butler is legendary. Anti trans activists loved their theories and tried to make them about oppressing gender diversity. So they took social contructivism to another level and then fascist-proofed it.

Back to the zines based on my father’s old documents! This one is about his early work with the local school, and reflecting on how he must have felt when I first got sick. Sending it out to my $20 (or $1 discounted slot) patrons soon! Let me know if you want the older ones too!
Pale hands hold a small zine showing a cartoon of an older person sitting and watching a child’s classroom, with the words “your child’s classroom” at the top. It’s clearly partial text and there’s more before the “your”. A heavy gritty gray texture washes over much of the image, an artifact of heavy xeroxing. It’s held over an old style textured brown file folder. Hands hold open the zine, showing two pages. On the left, an inscrutable diagram of two eye-like sets of circles. On one set the larger circle is labeled “contructivism” and the smaller is labeled “behaviorism”. On the other, the larger is labeled “the heliocentric” and then gets cut off, and the smaller is “the geocentric theory”. On the right page, a bulleted list of “areas”, listing “capacity”, “morale”, “self image”, “knowledge”, “motivation”, “curiosity”, and “listening”. “knowledge” is crossed out and there’s a hand written question mark next to it, and “capacity” has a typed note on it that seems to say “thinging pride”. The zine is held over the rich brown of an old filing folder. Hands hold open another set of pages from the zine. On the left over a gray like a cloudy day it says in my handwriting “I get why it hit him so hard / when my brother and I / got sick”. On the right, a faded black page with two children’s heads appearing in the corner. We can only see one face, and it’s smiling, but there’s a creepy edge to a face smiling in the darkness. Hands hold up the back cover of the zine, which is comprised entirely of text with a bit of gritty gray texture over it. It says “Plan to observe” and then cuts off to fold around to the front cover. And below it reads in almost complete text “Ask the teacher if you may visit / classroom while school is in session. This will show your child you care about his or her educa it will also give you a chance to your child working. But, rememb children often behave differently when an observer is present.”

If this wasn't something he would instantly recognise, then I'm even more clueless about social contructivism than I thought.
