So I’m even more convinced that trump is not the guiding force behind this presidency. Someone who wanted a controllable figure chose trump to be president and manipulated him into wanting what they wanted. Because the power attracted him but the ideals were just a vehicle.

I mean, lots of people were thrilled with all of Starmer’s promises with first, his pledges, then, to be elected PM. I think we need Burnham to show us in implemented policy. I’ll only be convinced with changes that are made, not with words; never again! PS I do like him though!

Yes, but he didn't exactly make a case for the union, especially given the back drop of a series of policies that were nearly all England only. Yes, I get he doesn't want to be the last UK PM, but I am not convinced his "emotion" would sway many voters tempted by the SNP, Paid or Sinn Fein.
