As if animals don't suffer enough under the milk and dairy industry.

Here in Ireland they let more than a dozen cattle die of thirst in Tipperary.

Animals deserve better than us.

This is well said. And around us here in South Tipperary 'Rural Ireland' is being transformed at a rapid rate by the endless expansion of Coolmore.

Similar land hungry billionaires are at work all over Ireland, hoarding and dominating the landscape. Ripping up old hedgerows and boundaries.
Rural Ireland isn’t a slogan and it doesn’t belong to anyone.

It’s diverse, complex, and changing. Farmers, migrants, artists, families, LGBTQ+ people are all part of it.

Caring about nature and inclusion isn’t anti-rural. It’s essential.

Ireland has an extensive network of field boundaries known as hedgerows but corporate interests want wide open spaces. Good to see a meaningful response in court for destroying 1.5 km of hedgerows, but no restoration for wildlife #SpeirGorm jrnl.ie/6984210
