Wipneus wanted some more time on the coolplate but Catootje just confiscated it.

Catootje is in the tunnel making a plan for revenge after her brother chased her away from the coolplate. Wipneus states this is his afternoon nap spot, and with him being a cool guy anyway he won’t need the plate. We’ll see.

I got some credit from bambu a while ago so I bought their supertack coolplate. Which is the latest hype in 3d printing but it really seems to work for regular temperatures as well.

They’re usually called Pet Cooling Mat but not for us, of course 🤣 Cool is Cool and it needs to be addressed as Coolplate, according to Wipneus and Catootje 🤓

Today im putting my printer and the new coolplate to the ultimate test. As Im printing a fursuit headbase for someone else. 30 hour print. First time using a 0.6 nozzle.
That first layer adhesion is SO yummy ugh.

my thoughts on the CoPE filament are still forming
Right now it will only adhere to PEI sheet with glue stick or the Bambu coolplate with glue.
I cannot get it to stick to PEO, Textured PEI from Bambu or BQ, it won't stick to the CryoGrip plate either.

Der Druck auf dieser #coolplate funktioniert tatsächlich super bei 20° C weniger Druckbett-Temperatur.
Das hat natürlich direkten Einfluss auf den Energie-Verbrauch, wenn man quasi bei "Zimmertemperatur" drucken kann. 👍
