I turned on #espn last night because the guide said it was playing “corgi races”, which did not disappoint. Turned my tv on today and now “slippery stairs” are on. I did not know these sports existed. 🤣 #corgiraces #slipperystairs

Here’s the clip of exciting #corgiraces action from Heat 5. It was brutally hot and muggy, we didn’t stay for the finale.
That’s me yelling “we have several corgis who DNS!”
Eventually the last corgi was encouraged across the line, to big cheers (about 2 minutes later).

#ThrowbackThursday from August 2022 — Freyja & Loki at @MNRenaissance in costume for the #corgi races. They don't go every year, it's a lot… crowds, short legs/lots of walking, constant hoovering for food that could be a hazard (turkey leg bones) and they are turning 11 this October.
