Midwest fall photoshoot: cornfields, cornfields, and... perhaps a soybean field? 🌽 Nate, our resident gardener, would know the difference. I do not. #booksky #romcom

Every time there is voting you will see a Republican without fail pissed off that cornfields can't vote and that cities exist.

"Sometimes I long for a convent cell, with the sublime wisdom of centuries set out on bookshelves all along the wall and a view across the cornfields—there must be cornfields and they must wave in the breeze—and there I would immerse myself in the wisdom of the ages and in myself.

so basically the railroads are probably paying tax on a small fraction of the value of the land they have in chicago to chicago itself, and a lot of that money is going downstate instead where the rails run through cornfields

If Michelle Fishbach wins just relocate us non-Nazis, raze the cornfields, and bring back the prairies.

Sloppy narratives starting to pour in. Just saw an article about Dems’ success in “rural states” like Texas, Nebraska, Kansas… that’s the 16th, 26th and 27th most urbanized states in the country. 73% of the population of Nebraska is urban. Cornfields don’t vote. Texas is almost 84% urban.

That phrase is for our Midwestern elders...it's not even actively used anymore.

She's desperately bowing to be old white racist men in their cornfields and boardrooms.

The Fascists

They left a #window open,
Even in Mississippi:
And the wave hit the towns, suburbs,
And the cornfields #equally.

And whether you vote always,
Or you just answered the call:
Thank you if you chose not to be
A #fly upon the wall.

I spot the hills
With yellow balls in autumn.
I light the prairie cornfields
Orange and tawny gold clusters
And I am called pumpkins.

To create the huge cornfields we see on Coop’s farm, Nolan had the production grow a 500 acre corn field. He’d learned this was possible when he worked as producer on Man Of Steel. Reportedly, the produced corn was sold and turned a profit.

He looks like Malachai grew up, stopped murdering in the cornfields and became governor.
HUGE: Rob Sand has won the race for governor of Iowa, defeating Republican Zach Lahn.

When he is sworn in, Governor-elect Sand will be the first Democratic governor in 16 years—and he’ll be a champion for all Iowans.

Congratulations!

Wow, an LRT. Lived in KW 35 years ago and was walking around in google maps recently -- can't believe how much more developed it is now! When I first arrived, I walked past cornfields to get to class at UW. 😹
