BEER REVIEW KLAXON. And as it's that time of the year... Corsendonk Christmas Ale, 8.1%. A properly chewy Xmas beer, roasted malt, overtones of rum with heavy fruit, figs/dates/raisins, a hint of sour dryness in the finish. Liquid Xmas cake! A bit rich for my palate, but a nice winter warmer 8.2/10

BEER REVIEW KLAXON. And as it's that time of the year... Corsendonk Christmas Ale, 8.1%. A properly chewy Xmas beer, roasted malt, overtones of rum with heavy fruit, figs/dates/raisins, a hint of sour dryness in the finish. Liquid Xmas cake! A bit rich for my palate, but a nice winter warmer 8.2/10

Our 2nd stop was another 'Cave/Bar' joint V&B, not such a big draft list but a good bottle selection & the service was top notch. Excellent shop including lots of Watou beers, Leroy & St Bernardus.
Their own branded glasses, La Chouffe & Corsendonk Rouge tried, friendly staff & great atmosphere 👍

Our 2nd stop was another 'Cave/Bar' joint V&B, not such a big draft list but a good bottle selection & the service was top notch. Excellent shop including lots of Watou beers, Leroy & St Bernardus.
