A very good joke which I think was on a recent Beef and Dairy Network Podcast: the local police have a cosy crime department.

I hope I have this right, in which case it’s probably a joke written by Benjamin Partridge who is a comedy genius.

'Allo 'Allo 'Allo

Arthur Bostram reprises his roll as Officer Crabtree in this cosy crime spin-off series set in late 40s England.

[I'm hoping this is an original thought - it just popped in my head]

To Americans who watch cozy (or cosy) British crime series, villages are mainly this, the local nick, and the pub.
If you live in or near Torphichen or you simply have an interest in the village's historic kirk, its congregation are hosting a public meeting to discuss the future of Torphichen Kirk on Sunday 25th October at 2.30pm 👇

Gah you're right. Really should have remembered that, especially as I did an assignment on her at school (she's definitely Classic, not Cosy, crime)

Without a doubt, one of the best cosy mystery series available. K.T. brings a post-WWII small American city to life through the eyes of Katie Porter, a crime-beat journalist trying to prove that a woman can do more than write fashion columns. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Katie Porter Mysteries

Classic, suspenseful, unputdownable, historical, romantic whodunits with an Agatha Christie vibe.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"KT McGivens does a superb job of weaving real-life history into her fictional stories so that you could almost believe her characters existed." ~Amazon review

I think it's the scarecrow's mac, but to me this is a publicity shot for the new spooky cosy crime series Scare & Crow, where a crow and a scarecrow team up to form an unlikely alliance fighting supernatural crimes.
His brain is literally crow poo.

Ludwig.
I was enjoying it until the last episode when a pistol was registered to one character.
I know it is a pretendy cosy crime series with a ridiculous premise, but the situation of pistols and handguns being banned in GB for good reasons and very few exceptions is pretty basic stuff.
