Which doubles down on COTCP being a bad sequel, sadly: if there were no links whatsoever to Cat People, COTCP might be a charming, if forgettable, family movie about a little girl and her (perhaps) imaginary friend.

COTCP wasn't even supposed to be a sequel, unsurprising given the ending of Cat People; but CP was such a smash for RKO that the studio basically twisted Val Lewton's arm into taking a light family domestic fantasy and adapting it into something that could be marketed as "Cat People 2".

Gr8 ep!! You all brought it. I still can't believe Drusilla can't see the brilliance tho. Anyway, really looking forward to next week as well - have always Iuvved CoTCP, I think it's quite lovely.

This requires some clarifying. "To solve" a case is a trigger at end step. If the case is "solved", follow timing restrictions printed, so CotFF can be activated anytime, while CotCP triggers on each of your upkeeps.
