A big pointy stick with an arming sword for a sidearm and I’m happy. Got the reach advantage plus CQB coverage.
Though the amount of fun I had swinging around a sword that was taller than me (I’m 6ft) has yet to be matched.

I will always find the ShAK-12 a bit funny because the FSB wanted a CQB weapon with limited penetration, and then this thing gets chambered in 12.7x55mm

It’s something I don’t really like talking about, yeah, so it was weird. They are actually related because constant shooting in CQB training etc… because of the positions, rounds etc…we end up with decent sized bis and tris.
Now I have to hit the gym to keep them haha. Less fun.

If you have a look at their insta @gign.france maybe they are not the quiet professionals lol but they sure do a lot of skydiving, scuba, fast roping and sniping from helicopters. Their signature CQB move is ballistic shield/helmet/face shield plus sidearm.

Yeah..."pepper spray, and a tazer", that's what I got. Lots of pepper sprays with the CQB training to go with it. A whole arsenal of tazers, and pepper sprays. The GOP thinks they are the only military trained tazer owners. They are very wrong.

I think one of the most rewarding parts iof writing is that I get to talk about things I know a lot about and like (warfare, CQB/CQC/UO) and find creative words to describe the texture of bring ragdolled against a wall from a blast (that would normally kill a person)

something kind of nuts I want to try with Starflight is realistic space combat. like, everything occurs at extreme range; you rely on instruments and drone feeds instead of being able to just see the enemy ship out the window unless they're in CQB range for some reason
