#ArtAdventCalendar Day 28
Great Currasow (female)
La Garita, Costa Rica

Large, robust bird 91cm (36") tall weighing 4 kg (10lb), the size of a smallish turkey. Gregarious in Costa Rica where I've been fortunate to see them in the wild several times. #bird #photography #crazyheadfeathers #costarica
