The anti AI stuff on this site is mostly comeong from folks in crearive fields that AI is very bad at. It’s good at going through large data sets if you feed it to them, like code bases or survey data or whatever.

I have never seen AI remove a stripped out and cross threaded bolt inside of a press, clean out the rust, retap the thread, replace the old bolt with a proper bolt, and apply grease.
I have seen it replace hard working and crearive artists only to give people 6 fingers

There are rumours it is considering introducing a 'commercial research exception' for AI training. This would be disastrous. It would mean handing the life's work of British creatives to AI companies for free, to train their models on.
