I have to give Canadians credit for how well they are still sticking to not buying products made in America.

So much of the online problem is Google/Meta doing nothing to police scams.

Imagining walking into Wal-Mart and all the shelf space at the front of the store was occupied w fake products that didn’t work and stole your credit card number.
It will always baffle me how we as a society have just let scammers ruin so many parts of our daily lives.

We cannot take phone calls anymore, emails and texts are flooded with scams, and social media directs you to scam sites for everything from forever stamps to kids toys.
I FOIA'd the FTC for consumer complaints about Little Tikes and there are a huge number of fake toy websites advertising on Facebook and Google that will take your money and won't send anything.

I refuse to give any credit to Ubisoft or any Ubisoft products outside of their socials antagonizing the worst people in the world
You have to break the established limits of being an asshole to have a major company authorize the handler of one of its official accounts to piss on your face.

Hey, vendor booths and exhibitors at cons.
Real talk.

If you have artwork as part of your booth decor, or as products that you sell,

And your answer to the question “was any of this artwork made by AI” is “I don’t know”

That’s unacceptable.
Credit your artists, and don’t sell slop art.

I don’t ever presume that Valve is benevolent or a friend, they’re a private company and they’re here to make money and their curation policy is fraught, but to to their credit they make products people actually wanna use when basically every other American company has forgotten that.

Keep in mind, this was the only thing Elon Musk really created. Everything else was just buying companies and letting paid experts create things -- then taking credit for them.

This was his brain child. This and making Twitter racist. These two products show his competency.

PM Carney on the Americans calling the alcohol ban an irritant.

"You know what's an irritant? 50% tariffs on steel. 50% tariffs on aluminum. 25% tariffs on automobiles. All the tariffs on forest products. Those are more than irritants, those are violations of our trade deal"
