Animated Creep Tapes when

(Also here are some more messy ones I made gingerly as my arm was almost healed xD)

Pt. 1

#creep #thecreeptapes #creep2017
ink sketch Panel One, Sara is pouring coffee while Josef eats/plays with toast. Sara: "What do you want me to call you?" Josef: "Did you forget my name already?" ink sketch Panel One, close up on Sara. Sara: "Aaron isn't your real name though. Angela called you something different." ink sketch. Panel one, Josef tears a piece of toast in half, and looks annoyed. Sara comes over with two cups of coffee, placing one down in front of him. Josef: "UGH! Can we stop talking about Angela?!" Sara: "Sure, that's fair--I just want to know what you want me to call you." ink sketch Panel One, he eats one half of the toast, and talks with his mouth full. Josef: "Anything's fine. Aaron, Josef, Tim Engold. I've gone by a lot." Sara, off screen: "Wolf?" Panel two, he plays with the last half of toast, staring pointedly at it. Josef: "I'd prefer it if you didn't."

Idk if there's as sizable of a fandom for the Creep movies/The Creep Tapes here as there seems to be on the other site, but I've been posting a little doodle fic on tumblr. Now that my arm is better I've been getting back into it too so might as well share here!

pencil sketches. First sketch, Sara (Creep 2) kisses Josef (Creep) who is handcuffed to a radiator. He is clearly surprised. Second sketch, she pulls away, and he looked delighted. Sara says, "Don't say anything. I'm trying to figure something out. You owe me. You know. For the stabbing." Third sketch, she walks away, leaving him chained to the radiator. He sits happily, criss cross applesauce, looking like a puppy. Sara looks like this was a huge mistake. She says, "So I guess... you're going to stay chained to the radiator. Until I figure this out... Fuck." pencil sketch. Panel one, Sara sits cross legged, deep breath, eyes closed. She says, "Okay, here's what we're going to do." Panel two, closer on her face. She says, "Personally, I hate avoiding confrontation." Off screen, Josef says, "Clearly." Sara sighs, and says, "Yeah." pencil sketch. Panel one, they both turn to the camera. Sara says, "You need the cameras. That's okay." Josef waves and says, "Hey! Hi!" Panel two, off screen Sara says, "And I want this to be a place of trust." Josef shrugs, showing off the chains, and says, "Hmmmm--chains really scream trust, Sara." pencil sketch Panel one, Sara grabs him by the chin. He again, looks delighted. She says, "And they come off when I can trust you." Panel two, Josef leans in for another kiss, but Sara blocks him, almost looking confused. She says, "And when I figure out what this... Is..."

Sara somethings her juicy fruit, but it's redacted pt. 1

#creep #creep2017 #creep2014 #thecreeptapes
ink sketch comic Panel One, Sara sits with her laptop in her lap, the camera facing her. Josef is behind the camera. She thinks she is doing the interview, but Josef has questions as well. Sara: Why do you think you have such a connection to film? Josef (off screen): It's the only way to know you're real. Panel two, closer up on Sara. First shot, she looks at him, then the second shot, she looks away. Sara: That's sad. Josef (off screen): But it's true. That's why you do it, isn't it? ink sketch comic Panel One, close still on Sara. She's looking back at the camera. Josef (off screen): You can't lie to a camera. You can tell lies, sure, but it will find the truth. Sara: Do you really believe that? Panel Two, full shot of Sara, leaning back laptop still open, thinking. Josef (off screen): Sure. But I think that's what makes it interesting, isn't it? That we can't, but we still try. What do you lie about, Sara? Sara: A lot, I think. Panel Three, the camera cuts to a midshot of Sara, who glares. Josef (off screen): Why did you kidnap me, Sara? ink sketch comic Panel One, full shot of Sara, slamming the laptop down, and gesturing out, angry. Josef (Off screen): No, seriously, I want to know! Why did you kidnap me? Sara: Why did you stalk me? Why did you try to kill me? Panel two, mid shot, Sara smirks. Josef (off screen): I asked you first. Sara: I asked you second. Josef (off screen): That's pretty childish, Sara. Panel three, mid shot, Sara looks put out, shy, uncertain. ink sketch comic Panel One, Sara looks aside. Sara: I... Wanna know how you feel. I wanna know how I feel. Panel Two, Sara looks back at the camera, gesturing to it. Sara: This? Feels like the safest way to do it. Since you stabbed me and axed Aaron. Panel Three, Sara looks away. Slowly the camera builds to a close up. Sara: And I guess you're right. This is the only way to be sure. I could lie to you, but when I watch it back, I'll know... Josef (off screen): ...You lied to me?

ink sketch Panel One, Sara places the Peachfuzz mask in front of the camera. She says, "Okay, let's talk. Tell me about this guy." Panel Two, Josef turns the mask back to Sara and peaks out. "I think we've been through this before." Panel three, Sara leans forward and Josef holds the mask, staring at it. Sara: "Maybe one of your other victims---" Josef: "Ugh, I hate that word." Panel four, Josef poses. Sara offscreen: "Like serial killer? You prefer Slasher? Final Girl? Go full Wes Craven?" Josef: "While I respect Craven's auteurship, I am not fictional." ink sketch Panel One, back on the two of them leaning towards each other. Sara shrugs. Sara: "Okay, Hannibal Lecter?" Josef, affronted: "Ah! I don't eat people! Also fictional!" Sara: "Why not?" Panel two, Sara looks at the camera disgruntled. Josef, offscreen: "Do... Do you want me to eat people, Sara? Gosh, I had no idea you were so perverted--vore of all things--no wonder it didn't work out between us!" Panel three, the camera is on the two of them leaning towards each other again. Sara: "...Did it not work out between us?" Josef: "...You tell me." Panel four, both of them are deeply confused and annoyed by each other.

I've been really liking doing these cause I've been practicing a new way to do comics where I just block the action in pencil and then draw everything in pen. I think this one turned out really good!!

#creep #thecreeptapes #creep2017
ink sketch comic Panel One, Sara sets up a camera, and Josef Creep lays on a couch, eating an orange, in chains. Sara: So I talked to Angela, just for context... Josef: Ugh, don't talk to Angela. Panel two, Sara turns to him, and he rolls his eyes. Sara: Why not? Josef: She's such a downer! Panel three, Sara sits behind him. Sara: She told me some downer stuff, yeah. Josef: She always sees the worst in people. Sara: Even if its true? Panel four, close up of Josef's disbelieving, sarcastic face. Sara, off screen: What? Ink sketch comic Panel four, Josef sits up with Sara. Josef: Sure, I tell a lot of lies, but what makes what she says true? Sara: Facts? Josef: Well, I don't remember them! Sara: Okay. Panel five, Josef leans forward, brow raised. Josef: Seriously? Sara: If you don't remember, that's okay. What do you remember? ink sketch comic. Panel six, Josef makes a touched surprised pikachu type face. Panel seven, Josef blushes and looks away. Josef: Sometimes I mix up movies with real life... Sara, off screen: That's okay! There is truth in that. Panel eight, Josef puts his arm around Sara and smiles, while Sara looks bewildered. Josef: That's so insightful, Sara! *proceeds to describe the plot of the Truman Show*

Ink sketch, Each panel looks like a facetime call. The text covers most of the space (because I am lazy) but also to convey that Angela is speaking very quickly and a lot. Angela, Creep's sister from the first movie, speaks with Sara over facetime. She is dressed in workout clothes. Panel One, Angela: Sorry, just got back from a run, anyway where were we-- Anyway, classic showbiz family. Mom was always trying to get famous. I wasn't cute enough for pageants, but Wolf was her favorite, she filmed him all the time--OH and she killed people. Sara: Like he does? Panel two, Angela: No, no, no--like--Black Widow shit. That's how we got all our money. She had to. Single Mom, four kids. Sara: (Holds up hand in wait gesture) Four of you? Ink sketch Panel Three, Angela looks askance: Make up kids. We're all close, but like just calls. Erika is an influencer and Freddy does crypto shit? I dunno. They were little when I got custody and put Wolf in the institution. Sara: Wait, slow down, institution? Panel Four, Angela, leans back to call out to her husband: Well yeah, from all the junk he got up to and the-- HONEY, what's that gross HBO show? Off Screen Husband: Game of Thrones. Angela: The Game of Thrones shit my mom and him were doing-- Sara, horrified: I--I get it. How long? ink sketch. Panel Five, Angela takes a grumpy sip from her Stanley Cup: And I'm the bad guy, mean ol' Angela, always the bad guy. --How long? Oh, as far as I know, he's still there. Last I checked--but I guess that Aaron kid answered. Sara: Aaron... Panel Six, Angela looks down at a notification on her apple watch: Anyways, I gotta go pick up my kids. You should probably leave. What'd you say your name was? Sara: Sara. Angeela: Aw, he talks about you! Panel seven, Angela waves, and below it says Call Ended: Anyways, good luck! Bye! Sara just looks horrified.

ink sketch. Panel one is a hand holding up a photo of Josef Creep to a camera which is recording. Sara says: So yeah... Panel two, the camera now is focused on Sara. She looks askance and says: That's what the mur--serial killer looks like. I don't know his real name. I don't know what he wants. All I know is he was stalking me and now... ink sketch. Panel one, Sara rubs at her eye, and shrugs, saying: He's locked up in the AirBNB next to my apartment. Panel two, Sara says: Look, I never wanted to do another episode of anything. But if you're watching this, I'm dead. ink sketch. Panel One, Sara bites her lip and says: Cause I... Panel Two, laughing, Sara leans forward to the camera, and says: 'Cause I was curious? 'Cause I trust him? I dunno. Maybe I'm an idiot. We'll find out on this episode of Encounters.
