There’s something called the invisible join or invisible fasten off which makes it much nicer. You can use it if you’re going to cut your yarn at this point anyway. Here’s a good video showing how to do it - there’s other ways as well but I prefer this one:

There’s something called the invisible join or invisible fasten off which makes it much nicer. You can use it if you’re going to cut your yarn at this point anyway. Here’s a good video showing how to do it - there’s other ways as well but I prefer this one:

In the past I just grabbed yarn and a hook and started, usually with a bigger hook because it goes faster. Not realizing (or caring) that my stitches didn’t look nice. The goal was to get it done versus enjoying the process and the look of the stitches. A good lesson to learn. #crochet #crochettips

I need some help from fellow crochet artists! How do you teach someone how to crochet while having opposite dominant hands? My mother(left hand) wants me(right hand) to teach her, but my brain can not process what on earth she's doing with her hands and vice versa 🤣

Crochet Tip: Magic circles (MC) also called magic loops, rings, adjustable rings etc. will eventually loosen and eventually completely come undone. Make sure to secure them.
This is especially important for granny squares or anything that will be in use or washed.
