No real #CrowUpdate these days, because not much is happening - which is good news this time of the year. Today, they were either really hungry or bored, they're mostly around the house and came begging for food several times.

The temperature not being too bad (but it's windy) I went for a short walk. As I approached the estuary, Ms. Crow showed up out of nowhere (not exactly, more on that later) and I gave her peanut. She grabbed it and flew away.

yesterday morning. I usually lay out the peanuts behind the closed part of the window so they feel safe. previously they picked up their peanuts and immediately took off, now they hang out a bit longer, hop into view and onto the frame 🥹🫶

Mr. and Ms. Crow are alternating between regrouping in the distance and standing their ground.
No fights, but some serious intimidation attempts.

i have no way of knowing but I think there is one more forward crow that recognises me. whenever i lay out peanuts on the window sill, other crows come, pick them up and fly away but that one always eats them on the window sill, hops on the windowframe and peeks into the office 🥹

left window a tiny bit open after laying peanuts out on the window sill and within 3 minutes a crow came and peeked at my face through the slit, grabbed the peanuts and flew away. now I hear loud crow noises from the sky but no idea what's being said 😅
