Merulanella sp. "Red Diablo" have to be one of the most striking species in the Isopod hobby. I snapped a few photo's of this adult before i noticed the young juvenile sat next to them, they seem to be breeding quite well.

Fury of the crustecean
Great crested grebe with a mouthful. It slapped the crustecean so hard on the water surface anything scaly and the legs flew off. And then a nice big breakfast was enjoyed.
