Other than being infected by crypto brainworms, does it at all make sense to exclude conversion to USD in the context of collateral for a loan denominated in USD? Like, under current guidelines, are non-dollar assets valued without regard to currency conversion?

By a vote of 6-1, the St. Paul City Council has banned crypto-kiosks citywide. There's 32 of these, at least, in St. Paul, and I'm told they tend to post huge mark-ups on conversion from dollars to Bitcoin. Most users in the know do that online. Fraud victims, they get kiosked...

The problem is that Christians use this and other techniques to do crypto-missioning. There are Muslim countries that restrict missionaries' ability to e.g. say they also call God Allah in Christianity, like Malaysia. Israel similarly forbids offering material enticements for conversion.
