#csm187 All versions of Pochita have fantastic designs, but I really love the way Fujimoto draws heart Pochita specifically. I just adore the goofy little :3 face.

#csm187 current prediction: pochita is going to vomit up another one of the "conclusions to human life other than death" that Makima mentioned. this will make aging weaker by proxy, because people will fear it less. that, or octopus.

#csm187 this page is straight up god tier composition btw. the chainsaw across the middle of the panel looks like a gutter, drawing your eyes up to the top half and then the bottom in turn to get the faceoff and then the reaction to the violence, despite all being a single panel

maybe a bit obvious but the reason why the age of 20 has been harped on a few times in the past few chapters is that at this time in japan it was the age of adulthood. basically another piece of the commentary of age-related oppression going on in this section.

The obvious choice is octopus (the last named devil to be eaten in this part) but I fail to see how it would be useful in this situation. We could be in for a surprise and pochita brings out something deeper from his “collection”.
