Last year, I was Cubmaster of one of our state's largest Cub Scout packs. When Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America) made an agreement with the Pentagon to prioritize the comfort of military families over the inclusion of diverse families, I realized I had to resign.

That's sweet , so the cubmaster softened the blow with liquor and always used lube.

Once upon a time I was a cubmaster. Going through my garage recently I found this thing I made for Arrow of Light ceremonies. Surprisingly, it still works.

I just recently became Cubmaster of a co-ed Pack.
While developing the program plan this year I've read some old Scouting training/reference materials that alternatively refers to them as scouts/boys.
It feels anachronistic, just as it should. Scouting is for everyone.

I've been Cubmaster for my son's coed pack for a couple years now and love it. It's great letting families all participate together.

This is a great read, and it made me proud to be the Cubmaster of an open and affirming pack that provides the best scouting experience we can to any interested child.
I'm kinda freaking out about this. When I was a cub about leader, another cubmaster and I partnered with this museum for a recruiting event!

Laurie completed her first year as a Den Leader (& baked 81 cupcakes for the potluck!), and I wrapped up my my third year as Cubmaster.

Sóla’s Monday AM walk: 37/88%/8MPHN. Dogs:12; Runners:2. Muddy dog and boots. Today is laundry day though. PresidentsDay reminds me of the field trip we took to Mt Vernon w/pack- I was Assistant Cubmaster. A couple of the animals (donkeys) were in season. Those boys got an eye full. #Dogsofbluesky

and if i can brag on my husband briefly, he's the cubmaster for our 7yo's pack and i love that for him! i wanted that for him bc he's exactly the kind of role model kids need! you can be that too, wherever you are, in whatever lane you're running the ball! just be out there and be good people!

this is also why I felt so proud after last night’s Scout Committee meeting — cause in the fall we lost a Cubmaster, and the Chair and I started making structures to keep the ball rolling
I’ve seen groups fall apart in those circumstances!

I was a Cubmaster myself on this day 13 years ago. I had a Pack Meeting that night...at the time, we did not know. No less a heartbreak, lo these many years later.
