It is also painfully obvious that none of these dipshits have read a Clive Cussler book, because if there’s one person you do NOT want to piss off it’s Dirk Pitt.

Just finished rereading War & Peace and while I love the book it also reconfirmed me in my opinion that if you prefer Tolstoy to Dostoevsky you need your head examined.

... is Clive Cussler down with the clown?

Thinking about it for half a second. I bet you can make a direct correlation between the rise of the video game industry and the decline of male adventure literature of the Ludlum, Lamour, Forsyth, Cussler, MacLean, and Wilber Smith variety.

Video games are the new adventure genre.

Checked out a new secondhand bookshop near me. It’s always good to be reminded just how many books Clive Cussler wrote.

Many, many years ago, I self-published my first book. My dad read it, and he emailed me saying, "Emmy, that was almost as good as a Clive Cussler novel!" So now every time we see a Clive Cussler book in the wild, my husband goes, "You know what's almost as good as that?" 😂
