Semi left side view. This Sakura fox has a lot of color matched airbrushing to blend in larger pieces of pink fabric. The whole design was somewhat blended color wise. The combination of colored fur and airbrushing allowed for larger swaths of color without bogging down the texture with paint. Semi right view shows off her cute little flowers. Side view of plush. The tail was requested to be in the upright position. White spot on the butt, while not fully pictured is a little cherry blossom shape. Floooooofy

The beginnings of a rather unique custom. When making plushies I don't have a pattern for, I find myself going back to hand sewing and sculpting. This head is completely put together by hand as my brain finnagles the shapes in mind.

This plush head will be for a standing custom of a tiger.(airbrushing will come later) Currently just figuring out the basic shapes and putting them together to get the look I'm going for. Hand sewing gives me more control over what I do or don't like about how its piecing together. Its more sculpture vibe than just following a pattern.

Two custom plush toys sit upon the work desk; sewing machine behind them. One plush is a full custom of a grey squirrel with hummingbird wings of blue and purple. The other plush is a standing custom of a tiger wearing a crown, gray t-shirt, and cargo shorts. Our tiger here is an example of a Tri color+ standing custom plush with an advanced outfit (embroidery and extra details). Stripes were airbrushed as I wasn't able to find any tiger faux fur that could be shaved down (or was of decent quality). This plush is an example of a full custom. I had to pattern out and design the fully body shape for the character. Applique technique on toe beans for the plush. Much more cuddly than embroidered paws.
