We live very close to the metro parks, and only a few miles from CVNP. Saw a group of about 6 or 7 yesterday.

I live a little south and the archipelago of country parks sprinkled south of CVNP here in the Akron area is just fantastic. People clown Ohio, but it’s really beautiful.

Do you know Szalay’s in the CVNP? Went to get some of their excellent corn. They do pumpkins big time, too. Hit them up at 10 before it got too crazy, but it was already mobbed.

Many major orchestras take summers off, but years ago, George Szell had the Cleveland Orchestra buy land in what is now CVNP and build Blossom Music Center on it so the musicians could play and get paid in the summer, too. And they have residencies in Vienna and Miami, so they play through the year.

More than 3 million people visited Cuyahoga Valley National Park last year. Because all those visitors are packed into just 51 square miles, the park saw more visitors per square mile than any other national park in the country.

I love ferns. They're some of my favorite plants.
Every time I have one, I baby it. I mist it, take it outside for hours, use pH-balanced soil, etc and it still dies.
