I did the local Walk to End Alzheimer's this morning on a hot day in California and wound up a bit overheated in the First Aid tent afterwards.
The First aid staff didn't bring plastic bags so they put ice in a glove and I used that. I looked like I was draping Halloween decorations on my body LOL✋

This stuff doesn't gain the same traction in the UK because (thankfully) there isn't the massive evangelical base that the US has. Farage tried on abortion, and you've had Tommy Robinson's fascists draping themselves in crosses etc. So far it's got them nowhere. Long may that continue.

okay I made Trouble's gladiator masquerade dress

dressmaker dress- red silk halter top with off-the-shoulder silk sleevelet thingies. the halter comes down into a patterned silk bodice with a gold silk drop skirt with gold sequin epaulets (I think that's the right word? I don't know I just like fashion I'm not smart at it) the skirt itself is draping red silk with slits all the way up to the drop skirt in both sides the mannequin is bluish purple
