After all their companions, who were hanging out outside the Lighthouse where the base is hidden, began to leave, Ylia and Brando stayed behind talking. Suddenly, they noticed that Pete was still there, leaning against the railing. He was physically present, but it seemed like his thoughts were elsewhere. While Ylia wondered where he might be mentally, Brando still had fresh in his memory the argument they had a few hours earlier in the hangar. I was missing to work with them so I get some time to do something ☺️ #digitalart #fanart #retro #anime #daikumaryugaiking #ElGladiador #reenave #ocxcanon #ocxcanonshipping

Pete Richardson and his brother Tom celebrating Christmas together 🎄☃️❄️✨
#ElGladiador #Reenave #retroanime #animestyle #digitalart #retro #retrostyle #retroanimeaesthetic #mecha #daikumaryugaiking
After the tragedy where his parents perished and only he and his little brother Tom were the only survivors, Pete closed himself off emotionally. As Tom used to say: "-And since that day, Pete remained mute. He didn't talk for a long time with anyone, and people started to consider him a strange person." He became extremely strict: for him, there was no room for sentimentality in his role as Captain. His partner Brando never tired of calling him "heartless," "cold," and labeling him as "an unbearable guy." He left his brother interned in a school in North America while he was in Japan. And even though he acted coldly when he saw his brother again after he escaped from school and came all the way there to find him, it was evident that he did care about his brother. Hearing him talk with Brando affected him, realizing that despite everything, Tom still believed in him. Particularly, I think his decision to leave his brother so far away was partly to avoid distractions, but on the other hand, to keep him safe since he knew that, although no place on the planet was safe at that time while they were still under the threat of the invaders from planet Zela, it would be even more dangerous if he were close to him. So I wanted to draw him sharing Christmas with his brother to start this year's illustrations with this theme. #ElGladiador #Reenave #retroanime #animestyle #digitalart #retro #retrostyle #retroanimeaesthetic #mecha #daikumaryugaiking

Fan-Li and his brother San-Li enjoying Christmas together

#Reenave #animestyle #digitalart #retroanimeaesthetic #daikumaryugaiking #retroanime #ElGladiador #FestivaldeRobots #fanart #fanartanime #christmas2024
Separated from his younger brother San-Li when he was 8 years old, he did not stop searching for him for over ten years until he finally found him only to lose him again, this time forever. Fan-Li is one of my favorite characters. Despite his life being marked by the tragedy that Ryu Hen brought upon his family and master, he did not use that as an excuse to do evil. On the contrary, he dedicated himself to practicing Kickboxing, becoming a champion and defeating his enemy on his own ground. Fan-Li was quite noble and a very good companion. He treated Brando in a very brotherly manner, was unconditional in providing support, and even defended him from Pete when he was very harsh in his way of speaking to him. His skill with the Skyler was impeccable. If Fan-Li had been able to celebrate Christmas with his brother San-Li, he would have thrown a huge party to make up for the time they were apart and would likely have invited Brando to celebrate as well. ☺️✨✨

Gene and Lisa - Daiku Maryu Gaiking

#Reenave #animestyle #digitalart #retroanimeaesthetic #daikumaryugaiking #ElGladiador #FestivaldeRobots #mecha #anime #retrostyle #retroanime
"- Gene, I swear I would have loved to be born on Earth." She came to avenge her brother who perished in battle. She was determined to end the Great Space Dragon. But what she didn't expect was to encounter people who helped her and treated her very well. Gene put his life at risk until the last moment, trying to save Lisa. Realizing that his sacrifice would be in vain, Lisa accepted her fate and preferred to jump from the ship to save him. I thought I would like to draw some characters who would have enjoyed spending Christmas together, and I wanted to start with them. They would have made a lovely couple if they had allowed themselves. Since Lisa loved flowers, I'm sure Gene would have spared no effort in giving her the most beautiful ones he could find. I really liked that somewhat hippie look Gene had when he wasn't wearing the uniform, which contrasted a lot with the genius he truly was. #Reenave #animestyle #digitalart #retroanimeaesthetic #daikumaryugaiking #ElGladiador #FestivaldeRobots #mecha #anime #retrostyle #retroanime
