...tho now that I think about it I guess ParaPara was mostly them capitalizing on a fad, so it didn't have as much longevity from the start. lol
(and they did eventually sorta revisit the idea via stuff like DanceMasters, to the point where it even had some of the same licenses as PPP)

The good William A Stecher does not seek to bind any, but to support the spread of gay frivolity in our unhappy times! It is the sharing of this great passion of ours that drives the revised text. You would limit dancing to only those who already know skilled Dancemasters, rather than make new ones!

ParaParaParadise was the only other early Bemani one that had it and even then that one was all Eurobeat bangers; it's still surprising they never brought it back into a main DDR, considering they had it on DanceMasters later on.

Participants simply needed to become immersed in the culture of old school games and dances, learning through play along with the many and varied community published missives and vibrant discussions amongst Dancemasters. We are not bound by the rules set forth by William A Stecher!
