This is a great movie which although it pre-dates the Matrix shares many similarities in tone with that more successful film.

For decades I have maintained that this scene from #DarkCity by #AlexProyas is the single best scene in history of popcorn cinema. Sure, artistic films did better things, but in the commercial, crowd pleasing department, this is it. It just doesn't get any better.

Minus the shitty CGI.

J'aime le ciné, donc je parle ciné...logique!
On commence avec #darkcity sorte de classique mainstream...mais de niche. Le genre de film que tu connais, mais que la plupart de ton entourage n'a jamais vu.

Skeleton Warriors (PS1) (1996)

2/5

The prince jumps on a minecart platform, because you gotta have a minecart level, smashing skeletons and shooting blue power shots and sparkling magic.

The dark corridors of Simiania, which, you also guessed it, is populated by apes, wielding batons and wearing leathery red armor on their torso. Some of them are hanging on the corridor ceiling further to the right and watching all the fighting going on.

Lightstar does a massive jump down, jumping past the many arches and openings on the walls of the Simiania castle, showing the purplish-pink sunset and the silhouetted trees outside.

Ominous blood red skies cover the ruinous rooftops of Darkcity as Prince Lightstar jumps over in the distance, destroying flying drones and other skeletal suckers followed by many scattered bone pieces and explosions.

Skeleton Warriors (PS1) (1996)

3/5

The game also offers a change of pace with a few hoverbike riding levels as Lightstar flies through dangerous wastelands like this frozen mountain, dodging bullets and shooting missiles at enemy hoverbike skeleton riders.

Lightstar hoverbikin' over muddy green hills, shooting a barrage of homing missiles as he flies toward a line of five square pillars covered in vines and ornate carvings.

Another bike chase level takes Lightstar over a rocky, desert area, flying over castles and towers as he shoots down a bunch of green skeleton hoverbikes.

Flying over Darkcity under the blood red skies, past some blue hoverbikes and weird square buildings with one of the having a maw with teeth for an entrance and a big sign with four green lights, a red blade and red letters saying "DAGGERZ", because it's edgy, get it?

//HE CONSEGUIDO LIBRARME DE TODOS

Lo único de rol grupal donde estuve fue en el DarkCity y uno de HP pero es que odio los grupales. Ahora bien, llevo muchos años aquí y he visto todas las atrocidades que se han hecho
