Even people who have turned their ad blockers off are reporting the site isn’t working. This all seems like a bad idea

This is a great example of how the default business across sectors has become surveillance & capta monetization. There’s no longer a question of what kinds of data or for what commercial purpose.

i'm sure hailey believes this but "you are not our product" is just... not believable once you understand that (1) the entire, non-paywalled online economy currently runs on the monetization of data; and (2) this website has no obvious monetization scheme besides its data as far as i can tell
No, you are not our product. Our product _is_ the code that we write and distribute for others to use. For others to take and build their communities. Making the users the product is exactly the model that never works and continues to never work.

So sad that even weird kinks have been infiltrated by tech bro entrepreneurs. Nowadays it's all TF apps with predatory monetization stuffed with tracking data. So much simpler when it was a mad scientist with a white coat, big dreams, and a ray gun that turns people into animals.
