You name any type of device or platform that collects data, a company exists that can package it and sell it as a data stream to police to be fused with everything else. CLEAR? Oh, yea. Geolocation from advertising databrokers? Yes!

By "customised/tailored/etc" it generally means "we sell your data to databrokers/ads agency" so they can be annoyingby spamming you with thing you might be interested in so you'll make a purchase (through them).

it's more than just a cat and mouse game between artist and databrokers attempting to scrape data and generate slop with it. the "futurists" of our time ironically can't imagine an artistic future at all because they're antisocial and actively avoided any humanities education.

obviously DUIs are bad and should be eradicated but the fact that suddenly that seems to be priority one at the same moment pedestrian deaths are spiking like crazy AND all the tech to make vehicular surveillance panopticons to sell info to databrokers is improving makes me extremely suspicious
