I tested it but it requires cookies if you are downloading your private boards. I did look it up on the datahorder subreddit before trying and it seems safe but most of them suggest "gallery-dl" as well for an alternative

And finally, if you are a datahording little gremlin (couldn’t be me), you can automate the process of downloading the text from entire forums using the datahorder-website-to-markdown script

this is a good way to retain access to Spicy Forums™ that might not be up forever, but contain info you need

as for future plans: over the weekend I made a sketch of upgrades up to 10 x 20tb disks. when I said “we could theoretically grow to around 400tb” my partner said “that’s probably about enough”
