Someone in the recent stream chat mentioned they had trouble connecting Streamer Zullie with Dataminer Zullie in their mind, and I'm a bit curious how other people feel about that. Does the speaking version of me feel the same as text version, or is it strange to try and reconcile them?

In a weird move that was likely made for attempted optimization, one of Mario's hands was removed from his model in the new Super Mario Galaxy port.

I'm unclear on the specifics, but I'm assuming they just mirror the other hand.

Oddly, this doesn't apply to the Super Mario Galaxy 2 port.

Mario's Heads: An Apology Earlier today, I have posted about Mario in Super Mario 64 having dedicated head meshes for each eye texture, which are swapped out for each other whenever he needs to blink. Despite having an expert dataminer explain this to me, the post was based on my misunderstanding. There are merely different assembly instructions for the head, which swap out the texture and use the same data for the rest. It is basically just a different form of texture swapping, and representing it as three separate heads was not a good visualization. I am not a programmer, but making posts about programming often requires me to try to simplify very complex processes to present the information. And sometimes, despite trying my best to understand the information, my best is simply not good enough. All I can do is to check with more experts before posting such facts in the future. My deepest apologies.

One reason for this unusual move is that the Soul Reaver remasters were directed by a longtime fan and dataminer of the series, Raina Audron. This is kind of like if they announced Bloodborne Remastered and it turned out the director was actually Lance McDonald.

Nintendo Classics apps datamined and Challenges coming similar to NES Remix
A dataminer has been examining the Nintendo Classics app which were updated to major update numbers today. Curious the dataminer looked at the files and discovered that Nintendo is preparing to release Challenges that are similar to those found in the NES Remix game, giving you different tasks to accomplish within the games and these involve the titles across the Nintendo Classics range, the NES, SNES and Game Boy. Presumably this will all be unveiled during the rumoured upcoming Nintendo Direct presentation.
