Datestamps please!
The datestamps “evidence that it was an inside leaker and not Russian hackers” theory is especially ridiculous if you know that file metadata is trivially altered. There’s a UNIX command “touch” that alters the different timestamps in a file that you usually learn pretty early in learning Linux.

These crop circles were formed on 17th and 24th September 1990 in Sasaguri, Kyushu (home to Nanzoin Statue, built early 1990's). Map 33°N, 33ft Circles > 33 - Divine Fulfillment. The datestamps have a curious resonance to Acts 17:24.

Agreed! I had this open in a browser tab "to watch later" for a while now (look at the datestamps!) and I'm glad I finally did.

This is an excellent 17 minutes spent listening to a real farmer talk about how we shouldn't bail out farmers who make bad decisions (voting for Trump & making terrible farming choices).

i usually look at the boards inside and check for datestamps on the silkscreens. my machine mostly had boards dated '77-'78, but a few older ones, so I can assume that the system was bought early on, and later upgraded -- one of the ram boards is from 82, iirc.

this is by the way one reason fuzzy datestamps on posts suck, it makes screenshots way easier to misrepresent accidentally.

On the flip side, semver is equally useless if any consumer's code is broken by a change to package code, even if just for a bug fix, they should ship a major.
But it's sometimes difficult to know what things will break, so might as well ship everything as major. Might as well use datestamps.

Going off the image filename datestamps it would appear the Tupolev visited them on the 2nd, when they would have been transiting from the Norwegian coast to Jan Mayen island

Can we please go back to the classic datestamps? They look so much cooler and feel 10000% more special.

this is why all my screenshots are goof or goof related cuz datestamps don't matter so much for those :)
