Eastern most light in Maine. Grand Manan Island, Canada in the background.

This area was called ‘Dawnland’ by the Peskotomuhkati (anglicized name is Passamaquoddy). The first light to hit Maine is here. Hence the name. This is now part of Lubec, ME. Good energy here ❤️❤️

The Wabanaki (Dawnland) Confederacy tribes including Abenaki, Mi'kmaq, Wolastoqiyik, Passamaquoddy (Peskotomahkati) and Penobscot, fought from 1675 to 1678 and their resistance was successful in "blunting the tide of English expansion".
