I forgot to add the hash tag #dcmqg and #modernquilt
DCMQG meeting today at the MLK Jr. library downtown Washington DC was packed and show and tell was inspiring as always.

Today I was reminded of this quilt I made a while ago for an exhibition of our guild #dcmqg about "patriotism". It reads "Ich bin froh, nicht stolz, Deutsche zu sein" (I am glad, not proud, to be German). Things I didn't do anything for but that benefit me are a privilege not a source of pride.
