I've been thinking more about "data products" lately - sparked partly by the discussion @jgp.bsky.social hosted at #DDTX25, partly by my current client work, and partly by reading through the Data Mesh book.
One question I posed at the discussion was which word is the modifier: "data" or "product"?

Anyways, I hope you enjoy reading this post for my perspective and synthesis of the small bit of #DDTX25 that I got to experience, and I very much hope to be back next year.

There is a whole lot to unpack, so I'm going to take the next couple weeks to post some of my thoughts about what I learned at #DDTX25, but I want to start with this: I could not have imagined a better way to kick off the year.
