tbh i think something kinda similarly shaped to yesteryears journalism will just emerge from this over the next decadish. I mean in many ways your outfit is kinda an example of it happening
We need to embed verification, sourcing, logic, and information literacy not as extra modules, but as core cognitive tools, woven through every subject from K–12 onwards. This isn’t about resisting disinformation. It’s about surviving an epistemic environment with collapsing gatekeepers

also as someone with chronic pain who got 15 percs a year for a decadish for flair ups and never struggled with abusing them i uh don’t love that theyre practically almost impossible to get a script for anymore despite my pain getting worse

i feel like ppl forget athens wasnt the only democracy then tho, and theyd just moved the delian leauges treasury to athens which afaik was the first centralized tax system in an 'empire'

Reddit has a racist, misogyny, and creep issue cuz the admins decided they were ok with some of the biggest subreddits for half a decadish being devoted to harassment, various bigotries, csam, people dying etc and that culture still has inertia

Probably nothing too abrupt because other markets might not be big enough etc. Layer on concerns about US equity techceptionalism and you end up with something that's potentially quite bad for $ value, middling bad for USTs but that settle downs, and effects on $ role take far longer (decadish +).
