Biden has the power to not only save these lives but to free many more — given what is coming, he should be issuing pardons and commutations by the thousands.

Mass incarceration is driven by public policy & spending — choices made by your elected officials.

If you, like me, think that what the Kids for Cash judge did was a lot worse than what many (most?) people serving a sentence for a violent crime have done, it's a reason to stop letting politicians exclude people with "violent" (or "sex," another discussion for another day) records from relief.
