Finished a post today on chords. It would be really easy to keep going and make a Monte Carlo for random chords, rotations of connected shapes, moire strings, shadow art with strings, etc.

my two cents on compilers: compilers should be silent if it did exactly what was told. any warnings should be actionable such that the user can get rid of the warning somehow. -Xmigration notices might be an exception.

`java.net.URL` infamously calls out to the network to perform equals. here's github.com/sbt/sbt/pull... to change all the URL keys to URI

this also cherry picks from a dormant PR that changes licenses from a tuple (String, URL) to a data type

Ran my first PyStan model tonight. It seems a bit less documented than RStan, but the concepts are familiar enough, and the heavier lifting will be in Stan anyway.

last 10 days of my #DecemberAdventure, quite hectic, but very fruitful. i've made a truly grotesque miscalculation : it turns out both #LEM and #lisp are way more powerful than i thought

here is my keyboard layout (mainly for use in LEM, but it's okay for english and castilian)
