I hesitated to post this - but seriously. It's just 1 case study of how fraternities say they are about "philanthropy" & "brotherhood" - even as they form the latter by violence & dehumanization.
But it's a particularly jarring case to me today. It's like "get the word tzedakah out of your mouth!"

Yes, there was a sensationalist aspect to how the story was covered that sometimes veered into dehumanization. The handful of people who said "THAT DOESN'T COUNT AS A MAN" weren't seen as "bigoted" but were seen as, for want of a better term, party poopers.

At what point did all these right ring nut jobs decide to make an enemy of aviation employees? Not the industry, not the executives making way more than they should trying to squeeze as much discomfort and dehumanization AND exorbitant ticket prices, but the actual over worked critical employees??

I think that's part of it, another part is the dehumanization of immigrants and the rush of power. They don't know what the suffering is like in these facilities because they don't want to know.
