I think I'm going to start doing postmortems for my fic because I just. Really love talking shop lol. Also I know my fic can be hard to find (sorry I'll have a proper pinned eventually!) so it'll also be to gather up my fills in a single place! 🧵⬇️

Chapter 2: wading through a dream, the self nowhere to be found Ghetsis did not used to dream. Every night, his world reeking of some acrid, cloyingly sweet scent, flowers overlaid atop it, would fade to darkness, and when his eyes again opened, a new day had dawned, the old overwritten, everything fresh - pure and infant once more. No sugary sweetness. No burning. No flowers. This was how he liked it. A clean canvas each morning, which he would write upon his own manifestations. Nothing lingering in his mind from yesterday, his feet planted firmly in the present. He didn't know when, exactly, it started, her presence sneaking in like a shadow, a ghost, a hope, but- By the time he noticed, it was too late. Ghetsis dreams of his daughter.

Chapter 3: like the naraka of avici and raurava Sometimes, he thinks: This must be hell. Perhaps he did kill his father. Perhaps he daubed essence of nightshade onto the mouthpiece of his mother's opium pipe. His parents are long dead, and perhaps it was his fault, like his mother always said it would be. But this is not Avici. The sin he has committed must be something far more deplorable than patricide or matricide. Dante wrote of Limbo that the gentlest circle of hell did punish those who resided therein by knowing the grace of God's light without hope of ever having His salvation. Ghetsis knows— This circle of hell should have been the last. That this punishment is far too cruel. If it were last, perhaps God's light would be nothing more than a faint glow, enough to cast shadows onto the cavernous walls, and in so doing, allowing the damned to exist in blissful ignorance, eyes used to only darkness. There is no name for the hell he has been cast into. Sometimes, he thinks he can smell cigarette smoke and roses, and thinks: If I call for her, surely she will come back home.

Chapter 1: tu es belle à force d'être Telling his own daughter to pull down her shirt so he can see her cute, pert breasts is not the worst thing Ghetsis has done to the girl. But he will admit, he isn't used to the anonymity of hiding behind a screen. After all, Eris is his to do with as he pleases. There is no need for shame, for cowardice. A stronger claim than the Divine Right of Kings, this is the Divine Right of a Father. He is her creator, her God. And so, like God, he sits in his heaven, far above the clouds, the Plasma Frigate cruising easily through the sky. His array of screens splay out around him, images and videos of Eris he's captured throughout her brief life on display before him, each monitor big enough to give the illusion that she's right here with him.

metamorphosis by AUO Chapter 2: the very hungry caterpillar Matthias sits in his armchair, tinkering with a partially unsealed Lævateinn, top stripped completely bare - no coat, no suit jacket, and certainly no shirt. He hasn't noticed her yet, shades down, focused on the orange glow peeking out from the rest of its bindings. His bare chest has a sheen of sweat over it, and he grunts as he reconfigures the metal laid over the sword, fingers enduring the super-heated edge as he fits more of its casings atop it, tattoos glowing purple as he fights against the pain of his own blade.

hierarchy of desires by AUO Summary: Yoshihide can always trust Matthias not to give a damn. Text: Yoshihide cannot ever own this body. She lays her head against Matthias's chest, the rest of her self tilted from him though he holds her anyway, wingspan too long, body too big to escape. "You comfortable, babygirl?" he asks. She doesn't know when he swapped his usual term of affection for 'babygirl,' and glides her nail against his neck tattoos, so much like snipping lines of a papercraft, showing her where to separate his head from his body. "What if I'm not?" she questions, digging her nail into his flesh, as if she could end his life so simply, with naught but overgrown keratin. "Ouch, kitten," he murmurs, tilting his head to escape Yoshihide's claws, and she thinks it's from her indignant scratching, but he repositions her, cuddling her body into himself, claws and all. "This better?"
