After their parents' deaths in the Calamity, both struggled to adjust, but Yunji had the street-wise Delika to guide him, whereas Yue was alone until the Mandervilles took her in a year after Dalamud. She's still very much the "gifted child, disaster adult," and she often turns to Yunji for advice.
