(Also, I added genderfluid, demigirl, & demigender, in the tags because demigirl and genderfluid are the two genders I've been questioning that I could be; lately I'm leaning a lot more towards being genderfluid though, but I do still believe demigirl is still 1 of the genders I feel I am sometimes)

i came out as ace back in 2021
and i came out as demi a few weeks ago during a time where it was nowhere near safe for LGBTQ+ individuals to express themselves

Gender questioning flag, created in 2016 by somebody who goes by enbygsrd online (I assume Tumblr). The flag consists of a thick pink stripe with a thin darker pink stripe underneath, and underneath that stripe is a lavender stripe that is a bit thicker than the darker pink stripe, and a lime green stripe that is a bit thinner than the lavender stripe. In the middle of the flag, under those stripes, is a thick light grey stripe, and under that stripe is a yellow stripe that is much thinner, and is as thin as the lime green stripe, with a slightly thicker sky blue or baby blue stripe (that is the same thickness as the lavender stripe) underneathe, and under that, a thin darker blue stripe that is the same thinness as the darker pink stripe, and below that, a thick teal stripe.

So possibly I am demigender like my partner, but it's not felt at all urgent to adopt, and my "women's clothing" has overwhelmingly been gender-neutral items with softer fabric than the men's equivalents (including jeans recommended to me by at least one transmasc autistic friend)

Also, another thing to keep in mind is many people who are already both homophobic and transphobic will also not believe that non-binary and non-binary genders (genderqueer, genderfluid, agender, bigender, pangender, demigender, like demigirl and demiboy for example, xenogender, etc.) are real and -

I used to go by a lot of labels in the past (demigender, nonbinary, even transfeminine for a while)
none of them sat right with me though bc I didn't really like being put in a little box, I wanted more control and to just do what I want basically
so now I'm genderfluid with any/all pronouns lol

Reimu wears the Aroace and Demigender colors. Those who've followed me for about a year already know why I read Reimu as aroace but my reasoning for demigender is somewhat similar as it ties into her reluctance of being a shrine maiden sometimes which imo could also apply to her gender.
