He will talk about the wonderful things *he’s* doing and blame any shortcomings or problems on FEMA and his underlings. Because the long term goal of Trump and the GOP is to depower and delegitimize the federal government so as to allow his kleptocracy
It will be interesting to see what happens at the first natural disaster in a red state. Will his anti-FEMA stance remain, or will he do something about it - and will impacted MAGA supporters blame him or not?

It justifies running around the problem saying “what do we do?!?” By saying it’s normal to be sad and confused at a time like this. It is not. That only benefits the rapists who want us uncoordinated. What we need to do is same every time: depower rapists

hitting people with my shitty little redemption beams that depower them and make them good, but they are a girl now, so they begrudgingly put up with it

We’ve seen them do this same thing in North Carolina and Wisconsin, depower the governorship as soon as a Democrat is about to take office, so it shouldn’t be terribly surprising that they’ve been casting about for a mechanism to do it at the presidential level.
The position of the federal judiciary is that presidents must hold infinite power — except if the office is held by a Democrat, in which case every executive jot and tittle requires swift, strict, and unforgiving scrutiny.

MAGA gamesmanship and judicial forum-shopping were instrumental in frustrating various Biden initiatives. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, it seems quite possible that the Court will depower judicial opposition in the service of conservative policy.

You don't need to be rude, of course. Some folks get really excited by the material and mean no harm, but it may be necessary to engage them and depower a trend before it gains ground

This is a little bit of hyperbole, but we have watched GOP state legislatures time and time again vote to depower the governorship upon its being won by a Democrat. Given that the Fuhrerprinzip seems to be the GOP’s operating principle here, I would not be surprised at something *like* this.
I could see, I suppose, a pliant GOP Congress, on the verge of losing one of the chambers to Democratic resistance, passing some kind of Act to, let’s say, Enable Trump to make law over Democratic opposition. An Enabling Act, as it were.

THIS LINE. This really hearkens to medieval thoughts on sex and gender and how everyone thought women wielded the witchcraft of pussy to magically emasculate and depower men. Like obviously he is talking about the public perception of the Echo, but imo the sexual undertones Are There.
