I've been wanting a movie adaptation of Hohlbein's #DerGreif for more than twenty years. Now I'm kinda worried because the poster looks really cheap. One way to find out, I guess.

While #DerGreif is by no means a great or unique show, the marketing really doesn't do it justice. The posters, trailer and intro animation are just so much cheaper than the rest of it. Poor communication on someone's part.

The depiction of mental illness and therapy in #DerGreif is ... not ideal, to put it mildly.

Hohlbein's #DerGreif is an amazing book that should have been turned into a major motion picture years ago. The new mini series is ... well, for one thing it's trying way too hard to be #StrangerThings. That's a shame. The story was already great and didn't need these additions.
