To us at SKIP, ‘unsilencing pain’ means ensuring every child’s pain can be heard and understood. For children with neurodisabilities, pain may be expressed differently, and healthcare systems aren't always designed with those differences in mind.

This one hits home as a disabled user. Most barriers aren't accidents. They come from choices about budgets, deadlines, and who counts as the default user. Calling it "as designed" is useful, because it means it can be designed differently too.

ha - that's fair! Just spent a session in my comics in education class on comics and dyslexia - and yes, there are things I would do differently in that case (though this was intentionally designed to be overwhelmingly densely visual)

they're super interesting! wii/ps2 unleashed is quite a different beast, and as such the levels are designed differently. The daytime levels are wider, with lots of incentive to drift and even some 3D platforming, not as reliant on boost.

Tbf it was never really designed for modern times. The concerns it had were very valid when we used computers differently than we do now. It’s still a very nice distro for servers and I use nix on macOS laptops with home-manager, but nixos can be tricky if you’re not truly getting the benefits of it
