Thousands of Baby California Toads Emerge at Devil's Gate Dam 🐸A little miracle near Devil's Gate Dam along the Arroyo Seco in Southern California. Thousands of tiny California toads just hatched and are hopping out of the water and into the underbrush to begin their lives. Most won't survive, but that's nature's strategy: produce many, so some carry on the cycle. With a wetter-than-usual season, this is one of the biggest hatches in recent memory. #CaliforniaToads #DevilsGateDam #SouthernCaliforniaNature #ArroyoSeco #WildlifeWatch
