This year, my Christmas tree features a "tryzub", handcrafted from bits of colored paperfound on the street in Plymouth while participating in the #devonopenstudios at Leadworks. I've been using the same tree for over 18 years now, and over the years, I swapped decorations with some local people.

Our trip to the seaside yesterday evening didn't exactly go to plan. In part because we left after the official closing time of
